ZERONATE X MINGEE KIM
Full Speed Ahead—with a Smile, “ZERONATE, you—you—you!”

After making a strong impression on Netflix’s Single’s Inferno Season 5, track-and-field athlete MINGEE KIM—often called the “Karina of athletics”—is now in the spotlight. In contrast to her energetic personality, a calm, neatly composed smile catches the eye. And, at the center of that change was ZERONATE.
Q1. Hello, could you introduce yourself?
Hello, I’m MINGEE KIM, a track-and-field athlete.
Q2. How have you been lately?
It’s winter, so I’ve put on a little weight—but I’m keeping busy with different kinds of training.

Q3. It’s been over a year since you got ZERONATE. What made you decide to do it?
Honestly, my teeth used to be a bit large, uneven, and not very pretty. Seeing myself on screen made me notice it even more. Without even realizing it, I stopped smiling as much, and I heard pretty often that I came across as cold. I wanted to smile more, so I decided to do it. Since then, people have started telling me I look softer.
Q4. You were already beautiful, but your smile seems to shine even more after ZERONATE. How have your fans and people around you reacted?
Honestly, there are already so many people around me who’ve done ZERONATE. They’ll say things like, “This is what I got,” and show me, or tease, “Oh, you went a little smaller,” and everyone ends up showing off their teeth. It honestly felt like I’d finally joined the ZERONATE crowd. (Laughs) And my fans have been telling me I look even prettier.

Q5. How satisfied are you with the results?
I’m extremely happy with the results. Being able to customize both the color and shape made a big difference for me. I wanted a natural look, not something that felt artificial, and I think that came through really well. Feeling more comfortable smiling has naturally led to brighter expressions and greater confidence.
Q6. What do you think is ZERONATE’s biggest advantage?
I was most concerned about tooth preparation, because I’d heard veneers can involve a lot of tooth reduction. What stood out to me about ZERONATE was its approach—that it can be done with minimal shaping—and in some cases, with little to no reduction. Having experienced it myself, I found there was hardly any foreign sensation, and the overall feel was remarkably light.

Q7. As an athlete, has ZERONATE helped you in any way—or is there a moment that stands out?
The biggest change for me is the confidence I’ve gained in my smile, especially during interviews. I also play soccer, so I used to worry about impact. But even after getting hit in the face by a ball once, I didn’t have any problems—so I felt really reassured.
Q8. What would you say to anyone considering ZERONATE?
If you’re concerned about tooth discoloration or alignment, and you want a high-quality laminate but feel hesitant about tooth reduction, I’d definitely recommend looking into ZERONATE.
Q9. Do you have a message for Director Jaewon Seo, who did your procedure?
Thank you so much for making it look so beautiful. When I look back at my old photos, I often felt I came across as a bit cold, but these days I can post so many more photos with a bright smile. People even tell me I have a softer, more “puppy-like” look now. Thanks to you, smiling feels so much more comfortable these days.

From an athlete who once hid her smile to someone who now shows it with confidence, MINGEE KIM’s ZERONATE journey sparked a change that goes beyond teeth—it changed her expressions. We hope her most MINGEE moments—on the track and in front of the camera—continue with a smile that feels truly her own.
